SHREYA LIFE SCIENCES LTD.

Hi...
On 4th March 2010, at 12.00 pm. we visited to SHREYA LIFE SCIENCES LTD. we interact with Mr Pradeep Deshmukh who is HR-Manager. Our visit is industrial visit as a part of programme to get the knowledge about pharma industry. They have three plant in India. Its a export oriented company. The corporate offics is in Russia. Focussing area for current year is Cost Cutting of Manpower. Recession affect Shreya pharma mainly on the exportation of products. Shreya is approved by both WHO and USFDA.
The annual turnover of all plants is 5000 to 6000 crore. Shreya recruit a candidate and they give one year trainning. Sherya take the clinical trial on rabits, frogs ..etc. After one hour we interact with Mr Sandeep Deshmukh who is HR-Finance. According to him annualy budgeting is done & under IFRS means International Finanacing Reorting Standard. Shreya' s marketing is done from mother depo mumbai. Finally he give us advice that for successful, implementation is must.
In this way we had very good interaction with him.

AJANTA PHARMACEUTICALS LTD.

On 3rd March 2010 at 3.00pm. we visited to AJANTA PHARMACEUTICALS LTD. We interact with Mr P.S.GALPHADE who is HR-Manager.
Our visit is as industrial visit as a part of programme of on the point view to get the information about pharma industry. He shared his experience with us and gave the information about AJANTA PHARMA Industry. He told us that, AJANTA PHARMA LTD. is established in 1979 . He joined the company in 1982 as a time keeper & today he is HR-Manager. He has near about 27 years experience in AJANTA PHARMA LTD.
After that he told us that we've two plant such as in Chikhalthana Paithan & at Chitegaon in which Paithan's plant is USFDA approved . He told us that if any problem is created first we understand the problem , discuss with staff & worker & then solved it. He said that, in this company there is worker union namely BHARTIYA MAZDOOR SANGH & he told us proudly that tere is no one strike still the date.
He said that , they produced cough syrup only for army namely ABDYL. He told us that therev is no impact of recession on pharma industry but in recession period they increase their production. They arrange the annual function for employees. When recrit a candidate they check the knowledge ,confidence, & grasping power . They export their product to Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakistan, Afgan, Morritious, ..etc. Their R & D Office at MUMBAI.
In this way, we had very good interacion with him.

NAVKETAN PHARMA LTD.

On 3rd March 2010, at 11.30-12.30 pm. we were visited to NAVKETAN PHARMA LTD. We interact with Mr Vivek Ganore who is G.M.-Operations.
Our visit is industrial visit as a part of programme on the pont of view to get the information about pharma industries. He shared his experience with us like how to control staff? how to manufacture the product?......etc. & so on.
Firstly, Mr Vivek Ganore give the inroduction about himself. He has completed B.Pharm. from University of Pune. He told us we've two plant in Aurangabad such as NAVKETAN PHARMA LTD. & NAVKETAN RESEARCH LABORATORIES PVT.LTD. He gave the information about there production like oinment based & topical (external use gel/ powder). He also told us his strength is to run the company.When we ask them, how to motivate your staff/workers then he replies that don't like fired the staff. He told that, their focus area for this year just cocentrate on expoprt market. And he export his product to Ghana, Nigeria, Philipines..etc. He told us about placement ,they collabration with consultancy.
He told us, about recession that there is no impact on pharma industries but in recession period they increase their productin & target. Their products like beta lactum, sephadoxin, ampicillin, amoxillin....etc & so on.He told about unique as we believe strength of employees & attitude of employees. When they recruit candidate first they give induction training then on job trainning & after that off job trainning.For achieve target there strategy is planning.
Finally, He gave the suggestion that first when you join the anyone company/ firm then take minimum 2-3 years experince. He told us about key reason for his success is only devotion.
In this way, we have done very good interaction with him.

WOCKHARDT LTD.

On 2nd March 2010 we were(Kishore, Ajit, Deepali, Kalyani, Namrata madam, Manmeet madam, and Rhishikesh Sir) visited WOCKHARDT LTD. interact with Mr Subhsh Jain who is HR Manager.
Our visit is industrial visit as part of programme on the point of view to get the information about Pharma. industries. We have done small interactin with Mr Subhash Jain. He shared his experience with us like how to control staff, how to achieve companies target...etc. & so on.
Firstly, Mr Subhash Jain give the introduction about himself. He has completed B.E. in Mech. Engg. and P.G. from I.I.T.,Kharagpur. He join WOCKHARDT LTD. in 2006 at A'bad. He controls about 14 mfg. plant in India. According to him, Confidance and Hardwork required for getting Success.He also told that there is no effect of Recession on Pharma. Industries. but in Recession period they increase their target. There is lot of scope for MBA in pharma., Finance, IT, sector.
He gave us suggestion that when any critical problem is created then first understand & concentrate on it & then solved it. For leadership man management role is very imp. According to him, Indian pharma industries are compete well as compare to international companies.He also told us how to do cost of product , like from raw material to manufacturing process upto the final product.
In this way, we have done very good interaction with him.
